Overview: The Property Integration Settings card enables you to configure and manage how your property integrates with various external platforms and service providers. This card ensures that all related services and tasks are streamlined and perfectly aligned with your property's requirements.
Components of the Property Integration Settings:
-
Calendar Sync Enabled:
- Functionality: This toggle button allows you to enable or disable the automatic syncing of your calendar data.
-
Integration Type:
- Functionality: Choose the platform with which you want your property to integrate. E.g., Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, etc.
-
Integration URL:
- Functionality: Input the specific URL for the integration. This might be the API endpoint or a web hook depending on the platform.
- Test Button: Once the URL is entered, use the "Test" button to ensure the integration link is working correctly.
-
Service Partner:
- Functionality: Select a service partner to assign to this property. This refers to the business ally who will handle tasks and appointments related to the property.
-
Service Name:
- Functionality: Assign a descriptive name for the service to provide a quick insight into the scheduled tasks. E.g., TurnOver, DeepCleaning, Weekly Spa Maintenance, etc.
-
Checklist:
- Functionality: Attach a checklist that outlines all the tasks a service partner must complete during their service appointment.
-
Clear Integration Appointments:
- Functionality: This allows you to clear out all appointments, in the future, that have been created via automatic sync. There is no undoing this action. So if you have made manual changes to appointments, but have not flagged to appointment as not being part of the integration, these will be wiped out.
Feature in progress: Feature to separate a single booking from an integration series is in progress with development.
Actions: At the bottom of the card, you have two buttons:
- Close: Exits the card without saving any changes made.
- Save: Stores all the configurations and updates made in the card.
Best Practices:
- Always test a new integration URL before saving.
- Regularly review and update service names to ensure clarity and relevance.
- Keep the checklist updated to reflect any changes in service requirements.
Troubleshooting: If you encounter issues while configuring the Property Integration Settings, consider the following steps:
- Ensure that the Integration URL is correct and responsive.
- Verify that the selected Service Partner is active and not archived.
- If the calendar isn't syncing, toggle the "Calendar Sync Enabled" off and on.
