Stay informed about important events in HostHive with the notifications system.
HostHive sends notifications for these event categories:

| Appointments | New assignments, status changes, cancellations |
| Service Reports | Report submitted, approved, issues flagged |
| Team | Invitations, role changes, partnership requests |
| Property | Updates, issues reported, maintenance alerts |
| Finance | Transaction alerts, payment confirmations |
| System | Maintenance notices, feature updates |
Access all your notifications from the bell icon in the top navigation.
The dropdown shows:
Click View all to see complete history:
Single notification:
Click the X on any notification
All notifications:
Click "Dismiss All" in the dropdown header
From full page:
Select multiple and click "Dismiss Selected"
When you have no notifications: "No notifications - You're all caught up!"
Configure where you receive notifications:

Navigate to Settings > User Profile > Notification Preferences
Toggle each notification type for each channel:

Cause: Emails filtered to spam or notifications disabled
Solution: Check spam folder, add [email protected] to contacts, verify notifications are enabled
Cause: Browser permissions blocked
Solution: Check browser notification settings for HostHive, enable in OS settings
Cause: All notification types enabled
Solution: Go to notification settings and disable types you don't need
Cause: Network issue
Solution: Check connection, refresh page, try again
