Configure HostHive to match your business needs. Customize service types, categories, amenities, and property organization.
Service names are the types of work you do—"Deep Cleaning," "Standard Turnover," "Linen Service," etc. When scheduling appointments, you select a service name so everyone knows what kind of work it is.
Each service name can have a checklist template attached. When cleaners complete an appointment with this service type, they'll see the checklist and can mark items as done.
Property-Level Override: You can also assign a checklist template directly to a property in Settings > Property Integration Settings. When set, the property's checklist takes priority over the service name's default. This is useful when different properties need different checklists—a beach house might need pool and outdoor checks, while a downtown condo might not.
When you change a checklist template for a service name, HostHive asks if you want to apply the change to already-scheduled appointments. Choose Apply Changes to update all future appointments, or Skip to only affect new ones.
Categories help organize and classify items throughout HostHive—service assignments, accounting transactions, inventory, properties, tasks, and time tracking.

Amenities are property features like "Pool," "Hot Tub," "WiFi," "Washer/Dryer." They help your team understand what's available at each property for service planning.

Service Partners are external companies you work with—cleaning services, maintenance providers, pool service, etc. Partners are invited via email and must accept the invitation.
The partner receives a notification and must accept to complete the connection.

Click the trash icon and confirm. Removing doesn't delete historical data—you can re-invite later.
Property Groups let you apply shared settings (access codes, gate codes, URLs, passwords) to multiple properties at once. Useful for condos in the same complex or neighborhoods with shared gates.

A property can only belong to one group at a time.
Organize your supply catalog into logical groups—Bathroom Supplies, Cleaning Products, Linens, etc. Makes it easier to find items and view spending by category.
Cause: Browser showing old data
Solution: Refresh the page or sign out and back in

Solution: Update appointments/properties using it first, then delete
